The lab hosted two brilliant BBMS summer interns Elok and Phoebe under the HKU Undergraduate Research Fellowship Programme #URFP 2022-23 in the summer of 2022. Both students shared their work at the Poster Presentation Session held on April 19, 2023. Congratulations to Phoebe on securing one of the six Best Presentation Awards. Well done to both!

APASL 2023 in Taipei
So happy to finally be able to attend a conference in person. A pleasure to participate in this year’s Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver (APPLE) 2023 held at the Taipei International Convention Centre from Feb 15-19, 2023 as a speaker and moderator. Congratulations to our Ph.D. student Jia Jian on securing two awards – The Best Poster Award in the Young Investigators Workshop as well as Second Place in the Young Investigator Award. Well done!
Croucher Senior Research Fellowship 2023
Incredibly blessed to be selected as a recipient of the Croucher Senior Research Fellowship 2023. Regrettably, I missed the Croucher Foundation Award Presentation Ceremony on Dec 8th, 2022 as I was down with COVID-19 that week.
