RGC Theme-Based Research Scheme Funding
Ecstatic to be funded by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong on our project “Understanding Phenotypic Plasticity in Hepatocellular Carcinoma to Mitigate Therapy Resistance and Tumor Recurrence” this year. Fortunate to be collaborating with a stellar team. Looking forward to doing some cross-disciplinary science with the TRS group with PIs who span HKU, CUHK, PolyU, and HKUST in the next five years. Fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute a review article on Hallmarks of Cancer Stemness in the Hallmarks Reviews Series of Cell Stem Cell.
The series of review articles apply the hallmarks framework to define distinct aspects of stem cell biology, spanning from stem cell aging, metabolism, and potency to cancer stem cells and tissue regeneration. Read all about it here.
